This component RSN310R36 audio power module is overheating (40-45 degree Celsius). The fan at the back is not continuously working so this component gets overheat. Simple solution is to get a 12 volts power supply and connect the fan together. This will lower the temperature of the RSN310R36 (audio power module). Or if you really want to improve the temperature inside is add extra computer cpu fan. Either drill the top cover and place the fan directly to the component and heatsink. Like what I did. Good luck.

Heat?

Generally speaking, an amp protects itself from heat, shorts and overloads by refusing to turn on or stay on.

Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output or marginally low impedance loading by the speakers; and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.

You should be able to feel if it's hot. WHY is it overheating? Make sure it has sufficient ventilation on all sides and that vent holes are not blocked by dust balls. Ensure the fan (if equipped) is running as designed (some only operate on demand). Clean dust and debris from it.

If the amp comes back on after cooling, you're lucky. They only have so many self-protection cycles in their lives so continuously resetting or cycling their power without addressing the cause can do more harm than good.

If it protects immediately on a cool power up you should disconnect the speaker connections and try it 'naked'. If it comes up then diagnose which lead(s) are shorted. If it does not come up the problem is internal and should be left to an experienced and competent hands-on tech.

Check for loose speaker connections as a root cause for intermittent shutdown.

My technics av control stereo receiver sa-g76 keeps shutting off(overload). can you please advise on how to avoid this situation?

Is there anything on top of the av receiver? Try and run the reciever so that it has enough cooling. B) Allthough overload, there is a possibillity it is causes by speakercables who are shortcircuiting once in a while. Usually somewhere at the back of the reciever or speakers.

Amp keep's sating overload

Have you tried disconnecting all the speakers and inputs and turn it on?
If it still shuts off you have an internal problem, if it stays on, connect one item at a time until it shuts off and that is the problem.

Technics SA-AX540 Receiver

It is unlikely that the display itself is faulty although it can happen. The typical problem is either the backlight is defective or the suply to the unit has a bad connection. If you can solder, try resoldering the pins on the display itself. The pins on the ends are the power and ground. I don't recall whether or not your model has a separate back light bulb or not. That too could be burned. Chack for that too.
