I was playing solitaire on our home PC and the power went off and the screen went black. Before it went black it said "no input signal go to power save" Everytime I try to turn the computer on you hear the fan but the screen is black. We have a Sony computer

Switch off the TV, switch off power and remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry.

This happens when the computer signal is being used as the input, and the signal disappears or is the wrong type.
It may have tried switching inputs if you were using the video input rather than the pc input.

Press the auto image button to get it to select the correct input.

If you are using the PC as the dvd player, then change the display settings ie computer screen refresh rate, and resolution to suit the projector

its asking you to adjust power on the main power box it sould be under power saver adjust level it to low it should be in your menue and then your main power setings.

What about the TV settings? Does it have PIP or some other mode that would overlay an image on the program already playing on another input? Or is the black box only there when you monitor the input from the HT?

go to run and in run type msconfig and in msconfig try to change the boot oder of the computer and disable all start up from the computer and check the things would will definetly work

chek your power module.check your electrolytic capacitors both in the input & output side of the power module.

I went to Pinnacle troubleshoot and found out the correct set up procedure.
