SOURCE: RE: won't drain
I had the same symptoms (washes normally, but won't drain/spin) It would only make a faint hum. I found it fairly easy to lift and tilt back the upper section id by removing the front two screws under the lid. The aggitator came out easily by removing the softener cup and unscrewing the large plastic wingnut inside. The upper plastic shroud came off by carefully removing the eight or so plastic tabs. Once the shroud was off, I could lift out the main wash tub. With the wash tub out, I was able to remove all remaining water from the holding tub with a cup and sponge out all water down into the depression where the pump assembly is located. One screw removed the cover to the pump assembly. Once apart, I found a thin piece of plastic was jamming the pump impeller from spinning. I blew through the drain hose from the back to ensure the drain system was clean. Reassembled in reverse in less than 10 minutes. It worked. Thanks Fixya!!!

I've had my washer for about 8 years. I experienced the same problem - pump stopped draining the machine. I called F&P and "Patrick" told me that I need to 1) unplug the machine, 2) tilt up the front of the machine, 3) spin the pump (plastic blades) until they turn freely (usually counter clockwise) but I turn it both ways till it turns freely, 4) plug the machine back in and press the buttons to get it back where it was - this has worked every time to get the machine going again. I do a lot of "dog laundry" and I'm sure the rugs/dog hair cause the problem. Hope this helps!

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
Rate me pl.....if helped.
SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel GWL11 Leaking water
If you cannot see the water leaking from the inlet valves, check the seal just above the water pump located directly under the drum. I am in the midst of awaiting parts to fix this very thing on my FP GWL11. This leak is dripping water directly onto the motor, causing it to trip the circuit breaker during drain/spin cycles.
Note... I have also had to have the inlet valve assembly replaced as well as it was not opening to allow cold water to mix with the hot.
Hope this helps.
SOURCE: washer will not drain
90% chance that is the pump is pumping water at all, there is blockage between the tub and the drain pump. If there is no water coming out of the drain line. either extremely clogged(odd) or pump motor is bad, and windings are not allowing rotation.
Hi
The issue is with the lid switch-lock assembly that is bad
and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further
assistance.
