You can often successfully recover deleted files from a PC, phone or camera memory card or USB Memory stick, it just depends on what's happened since the files were deleted.
When you delete files the data itself isn't deleted, just the index entry that says where the data for those files is located. The space containing the deleted files is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead.

If and when that happens, then it becomes too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned.
If the deleted files are on a memory card or USB memory stick, just don't save any new files to it.

One of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted files is to try some file recovery software. Recommended asoftech photo recovery as it saved my life many times.

Photo Recovery should be tried in your case. Download the free trial version on your PC, then connect the device where your lost items located to start scanning. The program is also able to recover video and audio files. For Mac users, please go to Photo Recovery for Mac.

Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back until you can retrieve your files safely! I hope you good luck. Best regards.

What have you done to these downloading pictures? Accidentally delete them or format them?
No matter what you've done to them, stop use the storage device used to save them in case that any new file would overwrite your pictures and make them gone forever.
And then, connect it to a computer and try to restore all your pictures back easily with the help of a photo data recovery freeware:
http://www.freeware-fix.blogspot.com/2013/02/photo-recovery.html
The deleted/lost photos are not actually erased immediately as you think. They are still there and only become invisible. That's why a data recovery program can help you out.
In fact, this photo data recovery freeware has helped many people to restore their inaccessible and invisible data back successfully. It would also work well on your storage device and get back all your wanted pictures back completely.
Just give it a shot here:

I don't know what happened but my pictures are gone and I don't know how to get them back! Please help!!?!

Assuming you didn't download the pictures to your computer ... and as part of the download option, you elected to erase/remove the pictures (after downloading them) from the camera ... and you have not done anything (on the camera menu) to "refresh" or erase the pictures, or reformat the storage media (memory card) ...
then ...
... if the pictures are stored in a memory card .... you can take that memory card out of the camera, insert it into your computer ( ... or use a card reader, inserted into a USB port) ... and see if you can recover the "deleted" data from the memory card ...

... if the camera only has "internal" memory ... connect the camera to your computer ... and when it shows up as a storage media, try to recover the "deleted" data from the memory card ...

You can (find on the Internet) and install and use various (free) software (on your computer) to recover "deleted" files on storage media (memory card, etc.), ... on a Windows PC ... like PhotoRec, PC Inspector File Recovery, Undelete Plus (or Undelete 360), Glary Undelete, Wise Data Recovery, Recuva Free.

Is there anyway to recover pictures off of a disc on a sony mcv-cd500? I could view them on the camera but when I was downloading to the computer they did not all download. Please help

Have you check other folder yet? Maybe you save in other space when you downloaded but you did not notice. However, if you can not find any copy in your computer, it won't hurt to try to use recovery tool, such as Recuva, easyrecover, which are free, but I can not guarantee they can recover all data, maybe you can learn more here:How to recover pictures from hard drive

Sanyo camera vpc S880 digital recover deleted pictures free

First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.

Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.
Download this photo recovery software
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Asoftech-Photo-Recovery/126127714100611?sk=info
Install and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

I deleted nearly 2000 pictures from my SONY DSC-S700 . After deleting i took few pictures .is it possible to recover old pictures?

Hello

Download THIS.

Download this free tool and run it on you card and it should be able to recover all pictures provided that you have not used the card since formatting. I recommend using a card reader for this.

After downloading and running (no installation required) , simply select deep scan and your memory card and it will start scanning, To recover a found file , right click it and select save.

Please note that the file names will probably not be available and also that some of the properties of the photo like date taken could be lost.

Please let me know when you have recovered your pictures safely or contact me if you need further assistance.

No data is visible on the memory card al of a sudden... looks lik der's an error. hw do i get bak the data? I hav a 1 gb card. Th MEMORY USED is being shown as 928 mb which is correct. But, i'm not able to...

The card has become corrupted. But you should easily still be able to recover your pictures. First thing, take the card out of the camera and take no more pictures with this card (you don't want to overwrite your older pictures).
You'll need to use recovery software and a USB card reader reader to recover your pictures. There's plenty of freeware recovery program. Here's some examples. If you don't have a USB card reader, get one. They're only a couple dollars these days on Amazon (with shipping included). They're also great for downloading your photos, much faster than from the cable of the camera.
Finally, AFTER you recover your pictures, format the card IN THE CAMERA to rejuvenate it back to life. This will also totally erase the card, so again do this only after you've recovered the photos.

My camera deleted pictures on 3 different

You may try downloading and installing the Memory Stick File Rescue software in the Computer to recover the images if it is deleted from the Memory Stick or you may also contact the Drive Savers to recover the deleted images from the Camera.

I will forward a link to a page where you can get more information about the Drive Savers or the Sony Media Service Team.

Recovering pictures that were deleted

It's no problem at all to get them back. Do not take any more pictures, and remove the card from the camera to lessen the chance of you overwriting some important pictures or videos. There are VERY many freeware software options available to help you recover your files. Please see this blog article that reviews several of the better freeware recovery programs that you can download. You may need to use a card reader with these programs though.

All the download links listed in the article are available through CNET. This was to primarily ensure through CNET's verification process that these would be malware free software, and to also give you a chance to read user reviews on the software before downloading.
