Screen? Had the same problem. It's an internal flex wire connecting LCD with camcorder. Got from the repair shop did it by miself and it's like knew. It's very common in sony. Good luck

most likely problem is dirty video heads. try a Panasonic cleaning tape; if that doesn't work, hand cleaning by a technician should work.

You probably have the lens cap on, the iris dial closed, or you are in vcr mode rather than camera mode. You may also have the nd filter set to 1/64th, this is only for bright sunlight. When shooting indoors with low light, set the nd filter to off and hit the iris button until iris manual appears on the lcd, then dial the iris dial in front of the iris button up or down to bring the iris to around 5.6 f stop.

We are one of the Panasonic ASC and so far we had no problem with DVX100P parts. Although that model has been discontinued parts are still available.
Most of the DVX100A parts are common for DVX100P

Hello! If the recorded tapes playback ok on the camera and not ok on another devices, you need to readjust the playback on this camera using a tape which playbacks fine on the other devices. This means that is a small difference on the tape transport. So when the supply and takeup post rollers readjusted and the audio and video playback are good, then your camera is fine.

either use a manufacturer recommended head cleaning tape or have a tech give it a good hand cleaning. Panasonic head cleaning tapes work well.
