Packard bell model number MS2273 Will not start up after the laptop being on charge all night....? Age of laptop, 13 months old and when plugged in to the mains, all that is active is the blue light indicator for the battery charger. However, after a few hours charging the laptop still will not start up. Hope you can help.

LOL, I didn't know Packard Bell was still making computers. I would think they sold you a bad battery. I've purchased new batteries before that would not charge.

My understanding that your PC has a battery issue.

Could be that the battery cells are dead and can no longer be charged. Consider replacing your battery with a genuine exact same type.

Using the AC adapter without the battery does not work with all Laptops, yours might be one of such. It is not really advisable.

Also ensure your charger is working properly. This should help.

Most likely the battery has reached the end of its usable life.
You'll need to buy a replacement battery and properly recycle the old battery.
Had you posted the model number of your laptop, I would have provided you with some online examples of stores that sell replacement batteries.

As your Laptop itself doesn't have a ethernet card, you can't connect it. But I have a solution, you can buy a USB Ethernet Adapter, which you can buy for a cheap price and you won't need to open up your laptop or any stuff like that. Just plug into your USB port and start working with Ethernet.
