In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Check the Chanel 7 broadcast signal on the other tv have sound,could caused by the tv broadcasting signal from the tv station itself.Check if ur tv have a function known as S.A.P. make sure it is off,could effected no tv audio problems,because the tv station in ur city or town don't broadcast in that signal frequencies.

The Horizontal Output Transformer might be replaced. Contact any experienced service technician.

Make a fist bang on the tv bazel frame.See if u get a picture or flashes of a picture?If Yes,ur tv have cold solders joints on the tv video board,that the video board connected to CRT- tv picture tube.U have a soldering iron and a roll of sloders,also can u do basic soldering?Yes resolder all the Video sockets pins Holes that connected the video board to the CRT tube together.Tv shoud have picture again.

Connecting the nec to your tv, I think you mean you would like to get the TV's picture out from the NEC instead of the TV.

You need to connect your digital cable box or dvd player or vcr system, where the picture goes to the tv, to the projector instead to get it to display the tv picture.

Can't guarantee that it would work without knowing more about your equipment.

If that is not what you wanted to do then I do not know.

upon realizing that no one would give me any suggestions without charging me, I solved the problem by lugging this huge TV out to the dumpster and throwing it in.

there is technical problem in your tv call and ask a service center to come n repair

My picture would go out after several minutes but I still had sound. I took the rear cover off and blew all the dust off with compresed air.I did this for a few times over several days nothing happened.I also took off the rear circuit board that attaches to the tube with a round pin socket and blew that with compressed air and put it back on. The TV has now worked for two days without the picture going out. It worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
