Sony handy cam memory stick pro duo

hi,
this cam has an M/C slot of pro, it is dedicated to still photos only.

Try formatting memory card as different devices allocate admin files in order to manage your photo files. That should fix ur problem.

Use card reader and insert your cams stick pro duo memory card/chip into it. Then insert card reader into Pc usb and copy your photos from memory stick pro to your pc.

Make sure that contacts are clean on memory stick and reinsert it in camera.
Dues camera show any error sign when memory stick is inserted?
Did you tried memory stick in any other Sony camera?

try to insert in other memory reader, if still not work better buy a new one.

Try Following...you will be Solved..

• Insert your MMC in to a GOOD card reader and Check .. (any damage )
• Insert in to CAM
• If still same,Insert another MMC in to your Cam
• Still same,Then Check your MMC jack(any Contacts damaged)
• Then you have to Manual Repair your CAM

if you bent the card, you broke components inside...your going to have to get a new card.

check memory card with your pc...if it works fine there then get your cam checked from local service center

if you are using the handy cam just look at the specs on the manual to determine what memory card is compatible. based on your info it is unlikely that the camera even supports 4gig of memory. You should try the smaller sony memory stick up to 2gb only and it should work. good luck
