Not any simple in situ repairs for this I'm afraid.

Unfortunately the price of a brand new replacement LCD panel combined with the cost of labour for installation is just as much as a whole brand new TV, and the new TV would come with a full warranty.

I think your best bet would be to scour the local online classifieds (llike Kijiji) in your area for someone who might be selling a model of tv exactly the same as yours, but that has some kind of internal circuit board failure. You could even post an ad in there looking for that specific model of tv, working or not as long as the LCD panel screen is intact.

Most LCD flat panel tvs fail due to some or another circuit board defect, and the LCD panel itself is still fine. You have the opposite problem, your circuit boards are fine but the panel is damaged. You might be able to pick up a used malfunctioning tv pretty cheap and just salvage the parts you need from it to make one fully functional tv. With a bit of quick research you could certainly learn how to replace the panel yourself as long as you had all the parts right there on hand.

Best of luck.

Joe.

Scratches on tv screen.

I have used clear plastic sheets and silicon tire dressing for smaller problems like this, but no idea how well it would work with a large screen TV. The westleys silicon tire shine smooths out the scratches, and you place the clear plastic sheet on top of that and work out any bubbles then tape the ends. It pretty much changes a standard screen into a glossy screen with the added benefit that you can always replace the sheet if it is damaged.
I usually get my clear plastic sheets packaged with the new LCD screens I purchase for repairs and I just keep them in storage.

Try using the Audio line out RCA jacks feeding a PC powered speakers to see if it does the same thing, If it is OK, then the problem will be in the power amp sections that drive the speakers.

Two DVD's stuck in Toshiba Regza with built-in DVD player

If you can find a piece of stiff wire, put a small 90 degree bend onto one end and try to hook the edge or middle of the DVD drawer and pull out the drawer. It will resist a bit but should come out.

Toshiba 32C3030 regza

Do not use the chat online service, it's not so helpful, the'll just tell you that your machine has a bad component and thats what electronic components do. Then they will just tell you to get a technician to fix the problem... What a waste of money...
