Hello!
I must inform you that most of the wireless headphones has an automatic shut-off which puts it in stand-by when there is no sound going in to it. Or if the sounds in your device is too quiet the headphones will think you have finished using it.

What you need to do is increase the volume setting of your device. And turn the volume control on the headphones down then as well - assuming that your headphone base unit is connected to the headphone socket of your device.

My radio is coming in static on my 2008 jeep liberty

Static as noise mixed with the audio? or just shhhhhhhh?? if it's like a radio without an antenna check the following...

is the antenna in the window of the car or is it a steel whip outside on the car? in both cases check the antenna connections (cable, connector), if it's in the window check if the copper trace in the window is not cut, if it is cut you can test reception with a peace of wire jumping from one side of the coper trace to the other side of the cut, if it workes i think you can solder a peace of coper to fill the gap with a solderign gun but confirm with an expert (car auto windsheald repare center)

if it's a SNAP, CRACKLE, and POP noise, than the tuner of the radio must be cheked
Hope this helps!

There is static on the speakers all the time.

Hi

The static on the speakers can be caused due to many reasons. However, the most common trouble maker is a cut wire or loose connection. Try tweaking the sound settings before proceeding further.

If not resolved then, check whether all the connections are good and wires are not cut. Next thing to check is the power cord, try changing the power socket to see if it is due to the electrical noise caused by power socket.
The last thing to check for is the sound card. Use a headphone and insert it into the same jack where your speakers are inserted and check if you still can hear the static. If yes then the sound card is faulty and if no then there is an internal circuitry issue with your speakers. Please post back for any assistance.

All static when not sending

There is a "squelch" control (may be a ring around the volume knob) that controls whether the radio thinks there is a signal to listen to. Adjust this until you don't hear the static (it should cut off all at once, that is where you want the control set).

Roland keyboard. Extremely static-y speakers. Cuts out.

It sounds like your volume slider is dirty. Try carefully and judiciously spraying a good quality contact cleaner into the slider and working it. do not use a lot. It only takes a little. Also do not use WD40.

Static in between video

Normal 0 Two things can cause static.
First, If you have your speakers turned up to high it will give you feedback causing distortion and static.
Second reason is, if you are using a laptop and have and have added an external microphone between the two it will cause distortion and static.
Not knowing the configuration of your computer makes it harder to analyze the problem.
So hope this is of some help. Bud

You better use analog multitester so you can hear a static sound coming from the headseat when you going to test.If happen you can't hear a static sound the common problem is the wire is breaks or cuts, then find where the cuts is and join it so it's works again.

Hope it may helps you;
