When the camera detects an error, it will tell you to turn it of and on again. Most of the time this all solve minor problems, which are caused by a software glitch. If the error returns, you could try this. While the camera is off, remove the battery, of say a minute or so. Than reinsert the battery and switch on again.
If the error keeps coming back, you should contact a Fuji certified crevice centre.
Always make sure, the battery is charged and the contacts are clean and shiny. (battery and in the camera, the battery compartment.)
How you know batteries are good? Sometimes new batteries are bad too. Also there is a possibility that you are using wrong type of battery like normal carbon batteries or lower ampere batteries which work fine in other gadgets but will show empty in a digital camera. Digital camera need high ampere batteries like Duracell (if your camera use AA batteries) or rechargeable NI-MH/ Li-ion batteries.
Hi, have olympus fe-280 camera. Battery on screen shows full but shows empty (an inch strip) in middle. I have charged it. Even bought a new battery. Can anyone help. Thank you. ...... I want thinking I may have two faulty batteries and just need to buy another one?!
I'm betting you bought an aftermarket battery and not an original JVC battery. The error message you are getting is caused by the camcorder not being able to read the charge sensor in the battery. Some of the aftermarket batteries neglect to put that sensor in the battery, or have a sensor which does not match the OEM sensor in a factory battery. Try an original JVC battery. Is this solution answered your question bu sure to rate it. Thanks!
Camera is not getting Info Signal from battery so it gives error.
One solution is to deattache the battery for couple of hours and try again.
2nd is that camera has hardware problem though its not big and requires qualified technician.
if it uses AA-try a set of energizer lithium batterys as a experiment-i can pull 300-500 shots on a single set-some cameras are very strange about batterys and it's trial and error w/types-own a sony and reg batterys last 20 pics and dies-lithium have been fantastic for me
Removing the battery only solution during freezing time / the battery out current /inside the camera still have current enough to illuminate the sreen /but all function are disable due to lack of current , If the message flushing battery empty don't wait that the battery will empty causing of screen illumination w/out function the digital camera.
If your batteries are NOT JVC batteries, then the problem is with your batteries. JVC batteries have some "smart circuitry" in them that helps the camera know and tell you how much juice is left. After about 20 seconds, the camera gives up trying to get the info from the non-JVC batteries and displays the communication error.
