Have you reseated them properly? Did you have the power connected still when you took them out and put them back in? If you had power still plugged in you have probably fried the ports.

Sorry been very busy at work, it maybe a software problem of some sort. Sounds similar to what my work pc does. We have not been able to find why the boot records seem fine but it won't start, it sits on a blank screen for about 2 or 3 mins and then tells me there is a start up error or push control alt delete. sometimes I have to go to the boot menu and choose were to load from and sometimes it won't start up at all and maybe this is whats happened here. We have uninstalled and reinstalled all the software and tried everything short of formateing the drive and reinstalling the software. I doubt it is a card problem as if it were it probably would not load or start to load at all. I would try formating the drive and reinstalling the software first. As this costs you nothing but you will loose all the info on the pc. We have pulled cords, cards and even the processor out and replaced them (apart from the processor) and the problem still exists. We think it maybe a trojan or virus that the antivirus and firewalls are not catching. We hope a full format will fix this and I will post it for you if it does.

Hello visit gigabyte here:

http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/support-downloads.aspx

And enter the mainboard number, to download the manual.

The front panel connector looks like this:

Or like this:

It depends how old the mainboard is.

Best of luck

I have gigabyte ga-g41mt-s2p mobo does anyone have picture of correct cable connection layout, so I can check visually if I have connected the cables correctly

You can download "GA-G41MT-S2P" Manual and all the cable connections are in the Manual.

FYI
As for the Front Panel ATX casing cables connections, the "white" cables are the -ve polarity & the "coloured" cables are the +ve polarity.

Hope it helps.
