I need to know how to register my pc with my ps3

Hi there Sk8 demon. I should be able to help you with this problem. The first thing you must do is to put your bluetooth headset into what is known as pairing mode which prepares your bluetooth headset for syncing with your PS3. With your particular model you'll need to hold down the talk button on your headset until the light turns solid. Next in your PS3's XMB menu look for accessory settings then select Register Bluetooth Device followed by Register Headset. Next it will scan for your headset until it (pairs). If you are asked for a code it is almost always 0000. You should be ready to go. Hope I was helpful.

Use a game controller to look under System Settings - > Accessories. Choose Register BD Remote.

is this the ps3 bluetooth if so delete the previously registered device and on top there should be a flip cover that can open plug in to register this should imediatly fix the problem please comment back and if you know how to fix ps3 error 80710102 u will be a hero

Usually you press the button with the playstation icon on it in the centre of the controller. This registers the controller to the console under normal conditions.

Registering a BD remote control 1.
Prepare the BD remote control.

Select (Accessory Settings) under (Settings) in the home menu.

Select [Register Bluetooth® Device].
4.
Select [Register BD Remote Control].
Only one BD remote control can be registered at any given time. If you register another BD remote control, information on the currently registered headset will be overwritten.
5.
Follow the on-screen instructions to register the BD remote control.
When the registration (pairing) is complete, a controller number is assigned.

• When seven SIXAXIS™ wireless controllers are in use, you cannot register or use a BD remote control.
• If you register the BD remote control with another PS3™ system, the device registration with the first PS3™ system will be cleared.

And about the update make sure if your updating with your PC you place the update file in the UPDATE folder,

The same way you did the first one. Go to the settings menu on the PS3 console and scroll down to the accsessories option. Straight foward from there.

i would suggest logging on to your home pc, checking the wireless settings then re-entering them into the PS3 internet settings, this happened to a familys PS3, but this solved it

Okay umm the PS3 has to register the PS3 controller to work. So the controller you got from the PS3 box you need to use that Controller to register the other Controller just go to Options go down to Bluetooth Devices and go to Register a BlueTooth Device and follow everything there.
