I have a sanyo flat screen HDTV. It was working fine, and now it isnt working at all. It says no signal on every channel, so I did a channel search, and it found some channels, and it only lasted approximatley 20mintues before it went back to no signal. Now every time I do a channel search it only finds channel 68. This TV was bought as a christmas gift, so its still new. Whats wrong with it? What can I do to get a signal?

Hi:
This may be due to the possiblity that the you are on the wrong input source, If you watch HD Channels then the input source would either be componet or HDMI input. Try changing the input source of the television with the TV's remote until you see the Channels again. IF you are not watching HDTV then the television is on the wrong reception channel for the Direct TV's box. Try channel 4 or 3 or even 73.
You gotta have a way to get signal to the tv . If you don't want a outside antenna use rabbit ears .After you hook them up hide them behind the tv then do a channel scan. If you don't pick up all the stations set them on top and scan again or get satillite or cable hd boxes.
you need to press the channel up button 3 times if yo get message as please connect av sources. then do the manual channel search for 2 times. it should solve the problem.
Can you confirm that you didn't have any input signal?
My wife once accidentally pressed the reset button on the remote and the TV was stuck in this state. I tried to hook up an antenna to the digital antenna input and let the TV search for a channel. It did find a station and got out of the channel search mode, which was all I needed. Then, I unhook the antenna and continued to enjoy my DVD movie.
I didn't check the manual. So, it's possible that there is a better solution.
My TV was working fine and I think it just has a terrible user interface. I'm not sure about your TV's condition, though.
