How to put wifi in that phone?? - Motorola Mobility Droid (2 GB) Cell Phone

If you haven't already tried this, try putting your phone in airplane mode, which turns off data and WiFi. Then turn on WiFi. You should then be able to use WiFi calling. You can test this to make sure that your WiFi calling is activated.

What's the make & model of your phone? do you know if your phone has wifi option?

There are apps on your phone that require wifi to be on for updates. They will turn wifi back on if you turn it off.

the first thing i would try? move the apps back into phone memory out of the sd card.maybe put the wifi back on phone memory,shut the phone off,remove the battery,put it back in & restart phone.it may take a minute or two for the sd card to mount.
then to "my files" (under apps on home screen ).choose external memory.pick wifi,tap the top right button. you will see options.pick "move".pick "device storage".that should put it back on the device.turn wifi on & see if it works. (P.S-always before removing sd card,pick "storage" on your menu. you will see the option to
"unmount".be sure to do this every time before removing sd card.

try making it "forget" the wifi network, then restart it. then finnaly put the wifi password back in, see what happens.

Via WIFI or data connection, if WIFI check security key is in put correctly, turn off phone and WIFI unit, wait a couple of minutes and try again

Wifi comes from a router that you buy when you have a modem from your internet provider. Go to a coffee shop they have free wifi most of the time.

did you double check that you don't have it in airplane mode?

go to 'Settings'

then 'Reset Settings'

tick 'Phone Settings'

The phone will say its going to reboot......then

after reboot...turn your WIFI on...put in your WEP password...

You do not need wifi to transfer from your computer but if you want to turn the wifi on all you need to do is goto settings then wifi and make sure your wifi is turned on
