Hello.
The answer to your question is YES.
And below is the instruction on how to solve the problem.
The Hoover750 is a washing machine that offers many standard features
and a few additional options, including energy saving cycles, variable
spin and water pressure options and pre-wash, extra rinse and timer
features. Available online and in select appliance, department or home
retail stores, the Hoover washing machine should function well with
basic maintenance and care. However, if individuals experience problems
with the machine, some troubleshooting steps may be beneficial in
locating the source of the issue and a potential resolution.
1. Ensure the Hoover washing machine is firmly connected to a
grounded power supply if the machine is not working. Reset the circuit
breaker if necessary.
2 Turn the main power switch to "On" and open and close the washer
door firmly if the electrical outlet has power but the washer is not
functioning. The washer will not operate if not turned on or if the
door is open.
3 Verify the water inlet hoses are connected firmly and are turned on
if there is no water flowing to the washing machine. Straighten out any
kinks in the hoses and remove possible obstructions from the inlet
screen.
4 Straighten the drain hose if the water is not draining from the unit.
Remove any possible blockages from the drain hose. Tighten the hose if
necessary.
5 Avoid selecting a "No Spin" option if the washer is not spinning
water out of the drum. Choose a new spin cycle and press "Start" to
remove water from the drum.
6 Verify that all four feet are touching the ground evenly if the
washing machine is rocking or vibrating during use. Adjust as needed.
Thanks.

Your problem could be caused the interlock but it could also be that the machine is failing to drain in the time alllowed and therefore the machine will not spin, before buying a lock check the sump hose and pump area for blockages.

sounds like a spring which keeps the tub centred is broken. Could also be a worn bearing. this needs specialised tools to get the problem fixed, especially to replace the bearing. contact a repair-person.

Hi In first instance it is likely to be the bearings, and most bearings are common sizes, so they can be replaced. But between the bearing and the drum will be a water seal, and if the bearings are worn, that is likely to be damaged too. So assume that you if you dismantle you will need to replace that too (if you don't, and it is worn, it will let hot soapy water wash the lubricant from your nice new bearings, and they won't last very long). However here are several factors that cause a washing machine to make noise in spin cycle. Please check the following. If a washing machine is rumbling, and noisy on spin, the main suspect is the drum bearings. Drum bearing failure is common on washing machines due to water getting into them if the drum bearing seal fails. To check for drum bearing failure you can take the belt off and spin the drum by hand. If the drum rumbles when spun then the bearings have probably gone. It is just possible that the bearings aren't yet badly damaged but are running short of lubrication. You can try laying the machine on its face and dribbling oil on the bearing, giving it time to drip through and on to
the inner bearing as well. If it works, then you are really lucky - but it is cheap and easy, so worth a try.
Another drum bearing failure symptom is excessive up and down play in the drum which can be checked for by lifting the drum up and down from the drum lip behind the door seal. A further symptom of drum bearing failure is a brown rust patch underneath the washing machine and down the back of the outer drum, underneath the drum pulley (where the belt goes) There are usually two small holes at the back of the drum bearings where water that has got past the drum bearing seal trickles out, and it's usually stained with grease and rust.
Other causes of a noisy washing machine are coins and other obstructions inside the water pump. This will cause noise when the washing machine is emptying the water. Coins or other obstructions can get trapped between the outer tub and the inner drum. This would produce a lot of noise on spin as they coins get tossed around inside. Usually, spinning the drum by hand will not reproduce the noise in the case of coins as the coins drop to the bottom of the tub when the washing machine isn't spinning.
A light scraping noise when the drum is turned by hand is usually a bra wire trapped between the tub and drum.
A high pitched squealing or harsh noise can be motor bearing wear. This can also be checked for by taking the belt off and running the motor alone.
A knocking noise can be a loose tub weight. This would be worse with heavy loads and would not be present on spin with no washing in. This is because the knocking noise is caused when the tub (or outer drum) shakes about on spin. Without washing inside the drum the tub doesn't move. Another symptom of a loose tub weight is grey concrete dust under the washing machine.
