Well, since the first question I did get the carb rebuild kit replaced needle, screen and all gaskets. Nothing has changed in how the engine acts. I suspect there is junk inside I did not find. My fuel lines go like this; filter line is going to lower carb connection bulb to top of carb and bulb pulling fuel through carb and back to tank. If this is wrong it could be my problem. Thanks

SOURCE: runs only via primer bulb

You definitely have a fuel problem. But you will have to take the carburetor off and disassemble it. As far as other carburetor parts failing; yes , but it's probably do to old age or much use. You should first take the carb. apart and clean the all ports with a Den Tek Brush, (used for cleaning teeth), they work great for this job. The smallest particle's can keep the carb. from operating properly. Also, check for a small screen that filters the fuel. It sets down in a larger port. It can get clogged as well, or even blocked completely. If after you have done all of this and it still doesn't work, you will need to purchase a carburetor kit for unit. It will come with various gaskets, a screen, and a needle valve. this should definitely solve your problem. You will also want to change your air filter, (if you haven't already), because if it is old and dry rotted, pieces of the filter can get sucked into the carb. that you just spent an hour or so cleaning. You will then have to disassemble carb. and clean again, NOW THAT WOULD STINK!!
Good luck.

SOURCE: Have a snapper snap n' go trimmer s31sng - One of

I am not really sure how many lines you replaced. But the fuel line layout on most types of trimmers, weed wackers and lawn mowers are pretty straight forward. There is usually a line inside the gas tank for connecting the fuel strainer\filter. Then a line from the bottom of the tank to the carburetor. This line may also have a fuel filter located on it. On more complicated equipment you may find a breather line that loops back to the carburetor.
Below are a couple of links that might be helpful. The first three are diagrams of a similar 31cc Snapper trimmer and links to other Snapper trimmers. The fourth is to the users manual for your trimmer.
Hope this helps.

Looking for a replacement carburetors for a Poulan pro BVM 200 leaf blower

Take a very close at the carb to see if there are any model numbers on it. This will help you order the exact parts you need for that carb. There are plenty of parts specialists on the web where you can source the missing parts or a replacement carb. Some sites will even sell a complete rebuild kit which may be cheaper than a replacement carb.

Why my s430 will run and idle but dies as soon as squeeze the trigger even if I do it slow? The primmer bulb was bad so I changed that but still does the same thing?

Carb is in need or a cleaning and rebuild. I would suspect the diaphragm is bad. You can get a rebuild kit with all the gaskets for most carbs for around $10. There are some that gaskets are not available for and you would need to replace the entire carb. Carbs run from $15 to $30.

Todd engine for Lawn Tractor not getting fuel. bought a carb kit now what

kit should have included new needle and seat along with gaskets and possible welch plugs. Depends on kit purchased. Just need to remove and rebuild carb. They are very simple to rebuild, but need to clean all existing jets and everything else accessible first. Hopefully instructions were included, if not, will need to know model # to get info on how to rebuild carb.

Most of the rebuild kits for that carb come with all the gaskets, an accelerator diaphragm, and a float needle valve. The seat is not replaceable.

most modern carbies have fixed jets.some you can pry off the caps and adjust, but usually if you need to adjust carbie, youve got other problems.stale fuel, not enough compression, vaccuum leak, spark plug faulty[oiled up]carb gaskets letting in air, needle valve adjustment causing diapragm to not open it enough.used the wrong gaskets in the kit[sometimes they have different model gaskets in one kit

Suzuki intruder 1500 LC I have problem with carburator need to rebuild is a kit available? motorcycle.runs terrible backfires sputters poor gas mileage 135km to atank of gas

Intruder carbs are notorious for this issue. What you have going on is that the needle seat has become worn out. The problem is, that this carb was designed with pressed in needle seats that cannot be removed. You will need to search online for an intruder carb rebuilder that can press in the seats for you, as well as change the seals, replace the needle, check the diapragm and jets, and replace/clean the floats. OR, you can try to find new carbs online from a wrecked or used Intruder 1500 VL.

Engine bogs down when speed is increased.

Ok I have r Royobi Tiller (30CC Gas) And last year it ran fine after rebuilding the Carb. This year it was "hard starts" Idles fine, (Tiny whisps of blue smoke in exhaust with correct ratio) Even seems to run better with the choke "on" but still...at idle only. as soon as I touch the throttle...its bogs down in tune with how much gas I give it. Little throttle? Little bog down, Little more throttle? Almost stalls, a normal throttle rev? it stalls dead! Then starts right back up again in 1 pull and idles fine again!? WTF? So after cleaning a clean carb again, (twice) and seeing no change I thought I'd go look at the original diaphragm and compare it with the rebuild kit diaphragm (which is the one in the carb.) And guess what? The replacement has a larger rivet by a factor of "2". So basically it was flooding the carb, I bent the needle tang down, better but no cigar. But I could rev it half way now. A second disassemble to bend it yet a bit further and Vrooom vroom vrooom ****! So check your needle valve even though you think its 100%. (Especially if you rebuilt the carb with a kit!)

(mightylite 26cc curved shaft] gas not going into primer bulb was working great, when you push down bulb you can see it bubble in tank emptied tank it is clean no tear in bulb no holes in lines they appear...

Check the length of you fuel lines, make sure theyre long enough, check filter inside tank to make sure its clean,if all that checks out you probably need to rebuild the carb. Get the proper rebuild kit you need for the carb and replace the gaskets and diaphrams needle and seat valve ect. I use chemtool carb cleaner, works great. Before rebuild take carb apart needle and seat valve out spray cleaner thoughroly through all holes and blow out with air gun, then install new kit. This should set you back no more than $5.00
