The xbox is saying my acount is courrupt - Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

Turn on your Xbox 360 console.Access the Xbox 360 dashboard, go into "system settings," then into the "memory" option and Delete profile if it is shown as corrupted. The profile is damaged.Sign out of your profile if you are already on. Press the Xbox guide button, press the X button and select the option "Yes, sign out."Go into the "My Xbox" section of the dashboard.Select the option "Recover Gametag" in the Xbox 360 dialog box. Press the A button on your controller to select the option. Follow the instructions to repair your profile.Enter your Gamer-tag in the "Xbox Live Gamertag" dialog box that pops up.When the process is completed, your avatar will appear in the "sign in" area of the dashboard.
