Hello! I hope that you have been able to get that picture on your tv. Here are some simple steps for you.

If you are at TV1, where the receiver box is located, the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4. Depending on the cable that is running between the receiver and the tv, the tv may need to be on an input, such as video 1 or 2. If you are at the TV2 location, where there is no receiver, then the tv needs to be on channel 60 or 73.

If you are using an HDMI cable, your tv usually needs to be on am HDMI input. If you are using component cables, usually the tv needs to be on a component input. RCA cables need to be on a Video input. If you are using coax cable, no cable is needed.

I hope this helps.

How do I set the T.V.? I have Dish Network. A message comes up stating "No Signal".

You need to have the input on the TV set to what ever the "Dish" cable uses. If the dish box uses HDMI then find which HDMI port it is plugged into on the TV and set the input to that.

Dish network Blue screen No "Signal

Hi john harrison!

A blue screen with "No Signal" is usually related to a video problem. The TV may be getting changed off the correct input/channel, or the video cable might be going bad.

If you have a spare, I would recommend a different cable and seeing if that fixes the problem. If it continues, verify the input/channel your TV is on when it receives a picture and if it goes out try putting it back on that input/channel.

If problems still continue I would be happy to review additional options with you. You can reach me here or at [email protected]

Trying to setup tv 2, just upgraded the tv from an old school analog set to a brand new phillips 40pfl3705d/f7. can't get a signal on the tv and have tried both "air" and "cable"...

Hi carltonmarcumy name is Mike Houston of DISH Network and for the TV2 you want the Modularset to cable and channel 73, and then make sure the TV itself is set to channel73. After you have the modular set to channel 73 and the TV set to channel 73and you do not see a DISH Network picture you will then make sure theconnections from the wall to the TV are tight as well as from the receiver tothe wall. Then you will want to unplug the receiver for 10 seconds and plug itback in it will power up and acquire the signal and once you see that check TV2and you should see the same thing on the screen. I will send a link that will helpout with these steps. http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/black-blue-tv2

My TV says i have no signal but the other 2 TV work and we have the same cable Dish Network

Hi Mary with Dish Network Customer Service. Are you getting an error message? One of the easiest fixes for signal issues is to reset the receiver box (Unplug the power cord for 10 seconds, then let it reboot). You might want to check all the cable connections from where the Satellite comes into the room and up to the receiver box. I hope this solves your issue but if you are still having issues, please let me know! Have a great day!

Was watching recorded events, left the room and came back to a black screen, with no sound....tried unplugging dvr and back in with no luck...changed tvs still same result

christy39467,

When you had the black screen on your TV, did you have a banner on the top of the screen displaying the channel and information about the channel? If so, then unplugging the receiver from the electrical outlet for 10 seconds and plugging back in will resolve that issue.

If you had the black screen without the banner, it is a different issue. Please let me know if you had any other messages on your TV screen (No signal, weak signal, etc.).

My 622 DVR dual (DISH ) receiver has lost 3 local channels in a row ( SAT 61.5) . Connecticut 7385,7386,7387 - (ch 20,24,26.) Other tv's/ HD box and old 310 box converters work fine. I have unplugged,...

Hello, my name is Daniel Busa with Dish Network customer service. Whats probably causing the issue would be that either you're not getting high enough signal strength on the 61.5 satellite. Otherwise there could be an issue with the box if you swap it with another reciever in the home, and the issue follws it you'll need a new box.

jefferswjj,

What are you getting on your TV 1 screen? Are you getting 015, acquiring satellite signal or weak or no signal, blue/black screen or snowy screen? Each of these problems requires certain troubleshooting steps. For the 015 message, a component from the Dish to the receiver may be bad. It could be weather related. For the other problems, the TV may not be on the correct input setting or channel. If you can provide more information, I would be happy to assist you.

Dish Network "No Signal" Message on Screen..Standby Mode

austinbrooke,

I saw your post and I'm wondering if you are still having problems getting a picture on your TV. Is it TV 1 or TV 2? What type TV is connected? If it's a HD TV, you will need to go through your input or source list on the TV to find your picture on TV 1. TV 2 is generally on either channel 60 or 73. I hope this helps.

Proron pltv-4250 no signal

THE BEST INPUT ON YOUR SET IS THE HDMI INPUT.2ND THE COMPOSITE INPUT. 3RD THE COMPONENT INPUT. AND 4TH THE ANTENNA INPUT. MOST DISH BOXES HAVE AT LEAST THE COMPONENT OUTPUT. YELLOW IS THE VIDEO AND RED AND WHITE FOR AUDIO. USE RCA CABLES TO GO FROM BOX TO LCD SET. ON THE DISH BOX YOU CAN GO FROM ANTENNA OUT TO THE CABLE OR ANTENNA IN ON THE LCD. SWITCH TV TO CHANNEL 3. AND TURN YOUR DISH BOX ON.
