If there was no issue but only a poor clutch prior to your work then the settings of the clutch must be rechecked. Make sure that the clutch functions to disconnect the transmission or else the settings might be wrong.
Secondly in the process of the clutch changing it is possible that the gear movements or levers have be misaligned. please check on this section.

My clutch won't engage 1997 Honda civic

Clutch plate and pressure plate seem to be too weak to pull the car. To test the clutch plate, park the car on flat surface. Pull the hand brake up, start the car, depress the foot brake pedal, depress the clutch pedal, put the car in 1st gear, press the gas pedal and leave the clutch pedal at once, while keeping the brake pedal depressed.
Follow one of the two following statements:
1. Engine does not shut down and remain start. (Clutch plate, pressure plate and clutch bearing defective - Replace all as a set)
2. Engine shuts down. (Clutch system is OK and does not require any repair).

Your master and slave cylinder can cause this, try replacing the kit for them and if that does not work then u might need to bu a new clutch.

My 1998 Honda civic ex won't move but the motor

Have you just replaced the clutch? Taken out the transaxle, and put it back in? Are you sure transmission was in good condition before this? If so, review your procedure carefully to be sure you got it all back right.
Watch the slave cylinder while someone depresses clutch. You should see the little plunger move slightly out and move the clutch lever back. The lever moves the release bearing inside bell housing into contact with the pressure plate. If slave cylinder doesn't move at all, try bleeding again. The plunger has to move when clutch is engaged.
I'm not sure what you mean by "will shift but won't go into gear". You mean it's actually going into a gear position and car won't move? Or it won't go into any gear, period. As if you had no clutch?

Where is the clutch switch located on a 1995 honda civic

There are two switches. The one you probably want is the starter/clutch interlock switch which is located at near the upper end of the clutch pedal. This switch engages your clutch. If engine wont turn over with clutch depressed and key to start, loosen the locknut and turn the cylinder clockwise to move the switch in closer to the clutch, try again. If problem persists, check ignition switch wiring for shorts/bad connections; there is no voltage from the starter relay to the switch, or no continuity between the two terminals on the switch, or the switch is bad. Hope this helps you out

1990 honda accord

possibly 2 solutions 1. manual transmission --probably clutch fluid. find out where it is, fill it , and make sure the cap is closed exactly like you took it off. if it's not closed clompletely, pressure won't be able to build up. 2. auto trans-- transmission fluid..note there is no dipstick to check fluid.

1992 Honda Prelude Clutch

Either your master or slave cylinder is leaking (if hydraulic) Replace leaking cylinder with repair kit and blead the system. More serious it could be a problem on the clutch assembly.

1995 honda civic clutch

It is not a clutch slave cyl. or clutch master cyl. problem, first check battery and and cables to rule them out if good check to see with test lamp if you have power to start switch at pedal cluster, [key in crank position] If you have power then check with test lamp, [key in crank position and clutch in] for power at starter solonoid, if no power replace switch at clutch pedal if you have power to the starter then you have a bad starter.
