your printer driver is corrupt or the files your printing are corrupt- most 49.xxyy errors are down to software external to the printer. not sure?.
disconnect the printer from all network points and cycle the power - when it is ready perform a path print test ( found under the diagnostics menu on the printer itself ) and you will likely find no errors ( if by some horror of horrors you do get 49.xxyy error then you will need to replace the firmware chip - Very Very unlikely) -
what to do--
remove the printer and uninstall from the workstation - reboot the PC - re install the latest driver for your operating system downloaded from HP website
re connect the printer - print away !!
It's a firmware error. Do ALL your print jobs give this error. If it is just one job that causes the error, something is corrupted with the software. If every print job causes the error, it's the printer. Try printing after removing DIMMs from the printer. If you can try plugging the printer into another port on the computer or router. When all else fails, go to www.hp.com/#support and download the latest firmware and install it. By all means READ the directions first.
You need to reinstall or fresh-install the driver or the printer. Please let me know the installed Operating System on your computer (windows xp or windows vista or windows 7 etc.. etc..). I'll help you fix the issue.
