Gidday, tom burt here, i own a planet audio p9000 headunit(screen one) problem 1= i make a video cd(nero), it plays fine once, i can go back songs and fword* songs but wen i turn car off...the cd will only start from were it stop'd and wont change songs or nothng..even if i reset headunit problem 2= the slider and flipper on the headunit ...try to do both movements at once..causing a jam... any help? lol Yours sincerly Tom Burt (147.8db)

The reset button is hidden on the back. Flip it upside down, in there where it connects to the dock to the left of the rubber grommet is a reset swith. I use a bent paper clip to reset mine. I always keep one in my car....it's a common problem with the TomTom's.

You probaly now have a faulty charger. Unfortunatly , it will have blown 1 , 2 or even 3 tiny chips ( IC's ) inside. One thing you can try is a re-set. This can be done underneath the tomtom . look for a very small pinhole . It will have the word RESET etched / formed into the plastic moulding near the hole. Use something like a paperclip and just press it gently not hard. Make sure yor going direct into the hole , not on a slant. You should feel the little switch inside the hole click as its a tactile switch. Then try turning the tomtom on again with its normal on / off button. If it doesnt come on then chances are those chips are fried . It will need a specialist repairer who knows how to repair tomtoms , or send it back to the manufacturer TomTom.
