Low memory Hello. I get an alert that says phone is running low on free storage space. Delete old or unused items to create more space. I have deleted everything that I know to delete and the alert will not clear. What can I do? Thanks for the help.

Memory is used up get rid of old texts,pics or whatever

maybe you should just back up your information and do a master reset it could be a memory leak =(

have you deleted your browser messages?

The system have used nearly the maximum internal memory available: Storage: Total 33.45 MB; In Use: 32.80 MB; Free: 0.66 MB Program.


If you already deleted or moved to memory card your files, that means that the space is taken by installed application/games, or by files left over by previously installed applications.

Save all your files on computer and do a complete reset of the HTC, restoring system to factory settings.

delete all email texts un-necessary files and clear your search history on you internet, you may want to use a card for storage, on your email you can set it to store to card and can also do that for photos and files.

Have you ever cleaned or reset your Pda? If not, then do it. It may happen due to your temp files which is using your space. Before you reset, backup your all datas and contact.

There are 2 different sets of memory - the built-in "Storage memory" & the microSD "Storage Card".
You can see how full they are:
1: Run "Task Manager".
2: Choose "Menu", choose "System Info".

I'm guessing that your Internet Explorer cache is large, filling up the "Storage memory".
To clear it:
1: Run Internet Explorer.
2: Choose "Menu", choose "Tools", choose "Options", choose "Memory"
3: Select "Temporary Files" & "Clear". This will run a minute or so.

but if i reboot all my contacts are away! is there maybe a way to save the contacts?

does your phone have memory card inside? if so try to remove card and try again. post results. Cheers
