I have been using non canon ink with no problem - until now. I have been having problems with the ink colors not coming out at all or coming out very faintly (magenta & yellow). I have done numerous cleanings and even tried the 7 deep cleanings that you recommended in another post to no avail. It will print fine once then start with the discolorations again. I saw another post of yours that mentioned a possible bubble of ink on the nozzle plate. How exactly would I remove the print head? Any help would be appreciated - this is making me crazy!

The yellow and magenta seem to be clogged because no ink (or next to no ink) comes out when printing or nozzle checks. I have done about 12 deep cleanings & countless reg. cleanings to no avail. Putting in canon ink didn't help. Reading similar posts I think maybe the print head is clogged. I'm not sure how to remove the print head to see if it is definetly clogged and to possibly clean the screens. Would anyone know how to remove the print head for cleaning? Thanks.
The blue ink does not work on my printer, despite numerous deep cleans.
I have been using non canon ink. Does anyone have a soloution? Can you remove the print head?

All of a sudden my blue ink stopped printing. I have cleaned and deep cleaned and had no luck. It will print once after the cleaning, but then go back to just yellow and magenta. I believe I need to remove the heads and clean the nozzles, but can't seem to find any information on that. Can anyone help me?
So explain how to get the printer head out of the printer. Thankx
Canon is pretty serious when they state don't use non Canon ink. These little holes in the print head are nanometer in size an the pigment in the ink has to travel through those holes.
You, can remove the print head that I know of. I've never seen any information on Canons regarding the replacement of print heads. I think once you get some real Canon ink and run a nozzle check, then the deep cleaning three times and finally a print head alignment you should be fine,
Does this help you?
