I have the same problem. I replaced the Ysustain board and still no picture. After a few seconds of being on it starts smelling very faintly and I immediately turn it off...i'm sure that's bad. I'm looking at replacing the power supply board next but really i think there's more broke on this tv (upper, lower buffers are prolly bad too). I'll keep you posted if i get anywhere with my repair.

Luckily mine was under the extended warranty, unfortunately after three visits and a month later the TV is still borke. He said he replaced the power supply board, does anyone know if the power supply board and the board with the external AV connections are the same.

With solid blue led set could be still powering on but would need to verify by checking power supply voltages. if up and signal is present with no menu or audio would be ssb as audio amplifier, micro processor and eeprom are on that board. if voltages are not present you need to offload x and y sustain boards one at a time from power supply and check voltages and if vs comes up with either board disconnected replace that board

Daniel, I know that ssb relates to a board but, which board are you refering to?
