I have a 2005 Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible. It is a second car that due to the severe NY winter weather sat for more than a month in our garage. When I went to start it, the battery was dead, so dead that not even interior lights or odometer would illuminate. After fully charging the battery, the car started on the first try, without any problems and ran great. I noticed that the clock had reset and I believe the radio presets were erased when the battery went dead. My problem is that since the battery went dead, my OEM cd changer doesn't work. When I switch the radio to CD, the indicator changes to CD Changer and the radio just says ERR. The lights under each CD button# 1-6 blink all the time. 1-3 blink, then alternate with 4-6. When I first start the car, all of the lights on the changer blink, including the lights for the CD door, then change to the alternating. Don't know if it matters, but I had the car out for several hours this week and I did notice that the number of times the entire changer would blink before switching to alternating would decrease as the day progessed and I started the car more. Do you know what would be causing this? The changer worked flawlessly prior to the battery dying. I would appreciate any help you could give. Thank you.

I am loosing oil. can I used 20w50 oil for chrysler sebring limited convertible 2005

you can use 20w50 providing the ambient temperature is above 10 degrees c. However it will not stop oil loss. Only fixing the leak will do that

2005 Chrysler Sebring with error codes p0700,p0720,p0731

2006 Sebring Convertible - Transmission Codes - P0700, P0720, & P0731....
2006 Sebring Convertible, started while driving around town - transmission did not want to shift and CEL came on. Stopped, checked transmission fluid and looked for anything obvious. All fluids good, nothing obvious. About 5 miles from home, drove back roughly 15-20 mph. Only other issue that had came to mind was the alternator had been making a whining noise for some time, probably 3 months or so - had mentioned to wife that we should replace it before it completely failed. Found one reference on the internet that the alternator could cause weird electrical conditions / interference if bad - leaking voltage back through ground. Thinking the alternator likely needed replacing anyway, I replaced it and cleared codes - all issues were solved - no more alternator whining and all transmission issues resolved. Replaced alternator on Sept 9, 2019 today is Sept 12, 2021 and still going - I think its safe to say the alternator was the culprit in this instance.
