Sony kv-g21m1 the h-out always busted.what is the best solution

recycle it and get a flat screen hdtv

get rid of that OLD TV

check for a busted screen back light .

this is a lamp issue please replace the lamp this always happen and best thing is you don't' need a technician to help you yo can do it by your own

Sounds like a power supply fault. You could try replacing all capacitors in the power supply and others areas around the line stage, with the same values. You may also want to check the tuner or "IF" circuit for dry joints. Hope this will help you. Kind Regards, JUS004

you have a busted capacitors around the flyback... that's why there have a low filtering in the supply... try to overhaul the capacitors usually with the high value of capacitance and voltage...

i have sony kv 14 gmr1mk r2ks always shorted and the other 1 appear like a lightning in midle of screen.. kv 21gmr1mk when adjust the brigth and contras it shut down the picture and blinking..can u help me how to troubleshoot this problem? what remedy you sudgest..thank you...
