I DONT HAVE THE CD DRIVER FOR ASUS MOTHER BOARD
Here it has the drivers and also a link for the manual. I would suggest downloading the files to another computer and burning CD to use on the other system.

Windows XP does not have the SATA driver on the install CD.
You need to download the SATA driver for your model laptop from the Toshiba WEB support/download page.
If the laptop has floppy drive, then copy the SATA driver to the floppy and when you boot up with the Windows XP install CD and then press F6 to install the SATA drivers which is on the floppy as instructed..
Dear Mr. Yaseen; To install windows XP SP2, you will need a disk that self installs the windows. You will be asked very few questions. Now, who said that the computer does not see your drice? In order that we can check that we will need a Rescue Floppy Disk. When you bought the computer you were given two (2) CD/DVD, one contains the OS and the other the drivers. If the drive C is corrupt beyond repair, you will need the Rescue Floppy Drive, which open the way to MSDOS, upon which Windows XP SP2 is based. Remove all CD/DVD from the computer and insert the Rescue Floppy Diskette. It should start immediately. It will ask you one question, if you want to have CD/DVD help and you say yes. The rest will happen automatically and a new drive named "A" will be established: There is no drive "B" in normal windows; drive C is usually the "windows XP SP2" drive; drive D can be the C
Sounds like you just need to install your SATA drivers. Look around for your cd/floppy disc of drivers if you have any. When you boot from the CD, It will ask you if you have any other drivers you would like to install, thats when you install them and it should read your SATA hard drive just fine. If you dont have your driver CD anymore search ASUS's website or just google (or similar search engine) your motherboard and look for drivers. Beware of some phony sites though. Good luck :)
Hi, your Windows XP install CD doesn't have SATA drivers for the hard drive included, so it's not able to address your hard drive. You can't disable SATA in the BIOS to make it work since your hard drive is still SATA. You'll need to get a 3.5" floppy disk and drive if your laptop doesn't have one. They make external 3.5" USB floppy drives that will work.
1. download the SATA drivers for your laptop (iastor.sys and inf)
2. copy the drivers to your floppy disk (about 6-7 files)
3. plug the floppy drive into your laptop
4. boot to the Windows XP CD
5. as soon as the installation starts, it asks you to "Press F6 to specify RAID or controller drivers" - Press F6 now
6. When setup asks for it, point it to the floppy drive
7. Installation will continue and find your SATA hard drive
To enable sata port press Delete Key when computer Starts. U will get BIOS menu. On there the Main settings window the second last option is to enable sata option. If u want to install widows OS (XP,2000, Server edition) **** Driver CD and go to RAID folder there u get a driver ( shown as Floppy drive Image). Incerte Floppy in drive and click that icon. And click Extract. Then incert the OS CD. On starting of instalition u will get a option press F6 to install Raid Disk. Press F6. On Bitween instalition u will get a option to install this Raid. ( With out this RAID u cant install XP or Other vartions of windows in ur sata hard drive)
