Tally activation problem

We formatted our hard disk drive without surrendering the tally licence.now we cannot activate the tally again,it is showing EDUCATIONAL

Hi good day, I have problem in my tally software , my hard disk drive was crash, then I well install my new hard disk .and install my tally software ,but they problem now I cannot activate my tally software(LICENSED IS ALREADY ACTIVATED ,PLEASE SURRENDER IT AND TRY AGAIN) PLEASE help me this problem…thanks

To solve this issue, you have to call only Tally's Toll Free number. It's 1800 425 8859.

  1. The License is active and running on your machine. Please Surrender the license from License menu (F12 > License > Surrender License), and Reactivate it .
  2. In case the Hard Disk of the computer is formatted without surrendering the license, login to Control Centre, Surrender the license, and Reactivate the license on the required machine.

Tally v7.2 educational error
  1. You can make a system restore point while installing Tally. But before restoring the same point you should remember that you data can be lost in this process so take an external backup of your data on CD etc.
  2. You can go in back dates by changing system date and see if Tally is working or not (Some times it works !!).
  3. You can insure that your system name, lan cards etc. Doesn't change.
  4. If you know that a trouble is coming ahead e.g. you may need to upgrade system or format the system then best solutions is that you first surrender the tally before formatting.
  5. If you are in deep trouble an and cannot connect internet the surrender the tally in offline mode and keep that file in a pen drive or CD along with your data backup.
  6. If you are in much deeper trouble and finds out in the morning that you computer doesn't start windows and last option is to format it again, then try to start windows in DOS mode and recover that data files by copying whole Tally folder in to another drive. Then you can write mail to [email protected] stating your Sr..No and contact person name to reset your licensing info. Wait for the response and then activate the Tally.

Tally 7.2 problem
We surrendered license for changing SERVER . But could not get the license number to the new server. But message box of the tally wrote as license activate successfully. But now we want to operate to old server. But the message box written “ surrender license and try again”. We will be very thankful if you solve our problem.

Help me...
The activation questions via telephone will ask you why, how many times, etc. If a hard drive was changed, even RAM changes will be detected in the automatic activation process so just explain. Good luck and post back if you still have a problem. Steve

Problem in activation of tally 7.2
it doesnot matter that tally is original or pirated, but if it is original

after taking the backup of tally you must to surrender the tally online,to tally solutions. after that whenever you want to install it again it can.....

but now days i seen a new problem with tally,

whether your tally is orginal or pirated its getting damaged....and when you talk to tally solutions you are forced to upgrade it in tally 9.0 by paying another 6500/-
