Removal of apron and feed mechanism
I have worked on similar machines so I hope this helps. At the tailstock side, there is a bearing block that supports the leadscrew etc. Remove any taper pins and bolts that hold the block in possition. Now the shafts should only be supported by the headstock and apron. Turn the apron away from the headstock (using the feed handle). The shafts are usually keyed on splined into the head (dont force it). Once the shafts pull free from the head you can turn the leadscrew out by hand and slide out the power shaft etc. The apron should then either be able to roll off the tailstock end (remove any stoppers) or be lifted upwards (remove any guides or stoppers).
