DWL-2100AP i have a new DWL-2100AP. how can i enable it on my lan. and users are more than 6

To configure the modem properly, you should refer to the user manual. It has all the settings detailed as well as a troubleshooting list:

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then configure wan settings and lan settings enable wireless if you want to use wifi If you are still not able to access with above ip then press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults then you can access it with above ip . The reset only restores the router to factory defaults, nothing should change the IP address needed to log on to it, it should stay at 192.168.0.50, have you connected the ethernet cable from your computer to one of the lan sockets?

1) Reset do default the device (rear reset button)
2) Set your PC a IP like 192.168.0.xxx (defaul IP address for DWL-2100 AP is 192.168.0.50)
3) Connecto via browser to 192.168.0.50, defaul login


To set IP address on you PC: goto LAN devices, click properties on your LAN, scroll down and selectInternet Protocol (TCP/IP), click properties, click set followingIP address:

IP: 192.168.0.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.50

be sure to check every point on this TIP
to connect to "prescribed site" (I assume the default router IP address 192.168.0.1) you must be on same subnet and connect using a cable to router.

First, disable the Access the Internet using a proxy server function. To disable this function, go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings and uncheck the enable box.
Open your web browser program such as Internet Explorer. Type the IP address of the DWL-2100AP in the address field (http://192.168.0.50) and press Enter. Make sure that the IP addresses of the
DWL-2100AP and your computer are in the same subnet.
