Hi thanks for your comments . Iam also a technician.Believe me there are some things you also ask your fellow technicians.Well This problem was dirty sensors at the imaging unit, the machine was sensing too much toner on the PC drum which was a wrong signal and hence it was applying very faint toner dust image .After i cleaned the sensors and did image settings in technical mode.I sorted the problem.I had a rough time of studying the imaging unit before i sorted it.Thanks for your concern.

Thanks, but I don't think anyone will do that since you simply are trying to put on trash our school and knowledge, just because you want to save some bucks. What you think a technician was doing ? They work just for few bucks. What you think ? We are RICH ?????!!!!

THANK YOU

WHY OUR MACHINE Di2011 DEVELOPER AND DRUM ARE BRAND NEW. BUT STILL BRINGS PROBLEMS E.G SERVICE CALL AND MACHINE TROUBLE SHOOT.

Was the counters cleared first? for the drum and developer, has to be done because the machine uses the counters to tell the copier what voltages to apply to certain assemblies. If not done causes codes and image problems. That is also how the copier has a new drum and developer, after the drum and developer where replaced was Toner Density procedure run. And no prints copies or faxes where received after the developer was replaced and running the Toner Density procedure, and any did get ne developer and start again. Must disconnect network cable and fax cable before changing developer also.

PROCEDURE CHANGE DEVELOPER KONICA BIZHUB 600

First clear the developer counter in service mode.

then remove the drum cart. remove developing unit. remove old developer. then run Auto max density. If you don't and make a copy or print you will have to replace the developer again
. recommend cleaning all toner around the drum and drum sensors requires removing drum be careful a nick on the drum will show up on all copies/prints

After replacing drum and developer unit, printing output is too light and unable to be adjusted. I've set the image to -3 and the grid to +2 but the printing output is still too light and on the density...

first did you clear the counter for the drum and developer before replacing them second did you run the required F 8 procedure if not need to buy new drum and developer. Start over the counters are cleared in service mode then you take the image unit out, then replace the drum and developer then re-install the image unit then run the the required F 8. ENSURE FAX LINE AND NETWORK cables are removed do not want a fax or print job to come in before running the f 8.

Replace the developer check also check that the developer unit might need to be replaced or the ATDC (Automatic Toner Density Control) Sensor.

Error code f-26-3

the bizhub 222 typically does not not throw this error code this is an error code is for one of the older konicas and is a toner density error code check developer/ developer unit
if this is a bizhub 222 the toner density error code would be c2557

My bizhub 250 said the drum needed to be replaced, which i did, however the printing is so light and the machine still says to replace the drum. What am I missing?

The drum counter must be reset by using the service mode. But that is not your bigger issue here. The drum section is part of the Imaging Unit. When you change the drum section you are also suppose to change the developer (starter) in the developer section. So when you reset the drum count this also "resets" the atdc (automatic toner density control) ratio which must be recalibrated using the F8 mode. The 2 are tied together. You can try doing F8 without replacing the developer but this is just asking for trouble. Just resetting the drum count will mean you have at least a 50% chance of getting a COF32 code which is an atdc sensor failure because of the ratio mis-match that will occur.
You either need to find Imaging Unit rebuilding instructions or have a service tech come out and take care of this properly.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
