SOURCE: dishwasher won't fill
could be. there is a float in the base of the machine. take the bottom front cover off and have a look. alternatively, tilt machine over and see if water runs out. water in the base of the machine means you have a leak
SOURCE: another inlet / drain light cycle interruption problem!
When the water stops too soon, it could be the "over flow" is stuck in the downward position, therefore the dishwasher thinks it's going to over flow. Check that out. Otherwise I'm afraid this sounds like the circuit board is shot.

SOURCE: Maytag MDB6650AWW will not fill
My Maytag MDB6650AWW dishwasher would not fill. The lights on the panel were on when I tried the wash cycle. I tested the water valve but no voltage was found during the cycle. I thought it may be the timer/control circuit. I traced the power from the door switch and found no power going to the float switch leg. I found two wires completely cut through (one going to the Water Valve) and three others partially sliced.
SOURCE: water fills washer, program stops, inlet/drain
Could it be.Try to open and look the fuse inside.Opps try to see the warranty of applian.
SOURCE: Water doesn't fill after 50-60 secs of valve
Float valve is not used in normal cycle, it is a failsafe method. Energy conservation issues dictated less water during washing.
