Check the brake pads. They may be worn down and the brake warnings are hitting the rotor. If they're ok, the housing around the rotors may be hitting the rotor.

Recharged AC, blew cold for 1 day then heard hiss near driver tire and now no cold air.

Whenever you add Freon, you are suppose to leak test first.Your compressor is good, you have a leak somewhere.A good place to take it to is Midas, they changed my freon over from the old stuff to the new R-134a,they leak test it first, that is rule 1 when adding freon.

87 chevy caprice A/C vent not opening

Depends on what is clicking. The engine vac opens blend doors under the dash. It could be one of the vac pots or a blend door is sticking. Normally the hissing noise means you have a leak, but a leak usually does not fix itself.

Hissing sound like air from a tire coming from underneath rear driver's side

Sounds like you have something rubbing, since you are not loosing air and there is nothing else to hiss,, an exhaust leak would have a different sound. I have seen debris get wedged in the brakes and make a noise when you are underway. The sound would vary, depending on what sort of debris it is. I would remove the wheel and look for the culprit. Your brakes may need to be religned as well. Sometimes the audible brake wear sensor will make a noise like that. Good Luck! I hope this is very helpful!

2003 forester - there is water leaking in the front passenger side floor when the air conditioner is running. sometimes a hissing sound also in the same area.

You need to clear the condenstate drain for the AC evaporator core, it is under the car, as far as the hissing, sounds like a vacuum leak, look for a disconnected small hose around the area of the noise.
