Lost instructions how do I scan with my canon 300 MX

First make sure you download the right driver/software for MX300 according to your OS. Then with the printer connected to the computer u can proceed:
press the scan button on the printer
then on your pc click my computer and u should then see the printer scanner at the end, right click on that and you will get the scan option.

I too couldn't do it for a bit then kept fiddling till i was able to and I have Windows XP.

Please read once more the part "Preparing the machine for fax" in the chapter "Faxing" of the MX 300 User's Guide and mind the hint "Important: Do not connect the machine and external devices in parallel to the same telephone line using a splitter (A). The machine may not operate properly."

Go here. It takes a few seconds to load all the files available. Select your operating system, and after a few more seconds, you should see the driver files to download. Follow the instructions to download and install the driver.

i have canon mx300 printer.I refill second time color cartrige and when I push him back apears this mesage " CHECK INK" cod U051. I tried to reset mai Canon like alfr3do and the same mesage. You could help me?
