I'm not sure if the problem is the phone set or the PBX. I have programed the phone set to forward all calls to extension and it works great. But I can not get it to toggle the forwarding on and off without having to clear the forwarding and reprogram the phone set each time the user needs to leave their office. I am forwarding to an extension that is connected to a wireless handset.

Check out the instructions for setting forwarding no answer. *7104 xxx # sets the forward and the time it requires to forward is settable in the *713 ss where ss is the number of seconds from 00-99.
A ring cycle is 6 seconds, so 24 would be about 4 rings. Once you set forwarding, you really don't have to cancel it, as even if someone is on the phone, the call waiting and display tell you who is calling and you have the timer time answer or ignore the call.

I have 7 Nortel t7316E handsets with only one ringing on all calls received I need to program another phone to ring also so I can have another person answer phones from another extension.

You will need to change the programming for the ext that you want to have the lines appearing on.
Enter programming - Feature **266344
PW - 266344
Press the show key - (top right arroe that is lit on the display)
Enter the ext # you want to change
this will bring you to line appearance press top r arrow
line assignment press top right arrow
show line - enter 001,002 or whatever line(s) you want to ring.
press the change softkey for each line to appear and ring instead of unassigned. Press the next (bottom r arrow) to go through each line after entering 001....
then release.
*** Make sure the sets you change are not forwarded to voicemail after a certain amount of rings otherwise all calls ringing on the newly programmed set will go to that persons voicemail.

My Mitel 5340 will not go to voicmail and keeps ringing

You need to set this extension up in the Call Rerouting form in the PBX. Program the First alternative to go to the voicemail extension.

Nortel T7316E Call Forwarding - Outside Line

The Nortel call forwarding (feature 4) is for forwarding the ringing and intercom from one extension to another.ex. if you were going to be working in the conference rm. instead of at your desk, with the forward on to the conference rm. extension, the calls you get at your desk will transfer to the conference rm. phone. Call forwarding through your service provider is done by accessing the telephone line you wish to forward, dial *72 (you should get dialtone reordered)and dial the telephone number to where you want the calls to be forwarded to. the party on where your forwarding the line to has to answer the line for the forward to take place. to remove call forwarding , access the line you have the forward on and dial * 73, you should recieve a stuttered dialtone for confirmation that the service is off

Program the ts 200 to forward calls

You would need to have who ever programs your PBX or office system open that up for you. These days you may not want to open that door for fraud reasons, if someone hacks in the system, you give them acess to call anywhere anytime.

Set not ringing

When you say you are the one responsible for the programming, are you referring to programming the "physical phone" or the PBX and line cards and system functionality?

You should have an extension on your phone. Has that extension for example 222 been translated at the PBX to ring on a direct number -> (xxx) 555-1222

Or by what you are describing, you are more looking at having "shared lines" that ring in multiple locations simultaneously, and once picked up somewhere a "line lock" should be in place?

Lucent 960 corded telephone

I know this was posted 2 years ago, but I'll try to answer the questions anyway.

1) By itself, the AT&T 960 telephone does not have the ability to forward calls. That would be a function of your service provider (or in this case the PBX that it is connected to).

2) How to forward calls varies from PBX to PBX. You would need to speak with someone who administers the telephone system.
