SOURCE: I have a MSI k7N2G and today don't want to start

if PC does not start at all, check power supply. if it starts but no picture, check : 1. memory stick(s), 2. check graphic card, 3. let it run a bit, then shut it down. Quickly, renove CPU fan : if processor is cold, then it is dead. if warm, it is one of the previous reasons.

SOURCE: bios reset on ms 6570

Hi, you can download a manual here:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K7N2-Delta2-Platinum.html#/?div=Manual

Unzip the file before you can read it.
The bios can also be resetet by removing the cmos battery:

The manual shows how to do it with the jumper settings.

Getting all four led lights on at the same time and hard disk light on constantly have a MSI K7N2GL mother board and nvidia gforce mx intergrated gpu

My guess is that your harddrive has died.
Try to change the harddrive out with a new one
and make a new installation.
Or it simply runs out of memory.
Could also be overheating.

Dont know wer to plug in the power switch which comes from the case. wil be a great help if someone can temme wer to plug the power switch.. thanks

Hi,
On the motherboard the pinouts on the front panel should be colour coded, and marked with letters like in this picture >>>>>
ce10baf.jpg

The connectors are also marked corresponding to where the connect on the motherboard, like in this picture >>>>>>
66ce2fc.jpg

If the board is not colour coded then the motherboard will marked with the same letters, you may need a strong light and a magnifying glass to see the marks and they are usually at the bottom right of the motherboard.

Regards.

My server would not start up after I removed the CMOS Battery

There is a capacitor in switching power supplies that fails, and is only used to start the supply, so with that cap bad it will keep working until you turn it off and then try to start it again. Apparently that's where you're at. Replace the supply.

Won't Boot up

you need to locate the JBAT1, CLRCMOS,CLRCLK, or similair terminals to clear the cmos settings or try removing the cmos battery, althogh you may need to do both as this will set the clock speed back to default
