II would check your paper type setting. you are working with a liquid type of ink and water will effect it. check the drying time of this ink. set your paper type to the set the type most suitable for this paper. try heavy gloss. you will find it under paper settings in the main menu. If no luck refer back to the ink and its compatibiliy with your ipf 8000. now if these are a recharged cartridges. you should change to the oem. meaning" original engineering manufacture".

You need to boot the printer into service mode.
Hold down the roll/source button and the info button while you are powering on the machine.
This should get you booted into the service menu where you can then access the replace printhead function
When you have successfully replaced the printhead, reboot the printer to get out of service mode,
You may also want to check the firmware version of your printer and update it.
Updates can be found on the Canon website

it's a multiple problem....there is no enough ink for the head managment sensor to understand the good function of the print head.
Print a nozzle check to see what is going on
Then come back for more information

I have had two of my Canon plotters give this error.message, I had to manually move the carriage unit and replace the printhead. On one of the plotters the error message returned, on the second plotter I was able to go into service mode where it asked me to replace the printhead. I just went though the motions since the printhead was brand new and I was able to get the plotter to function correctly.
