SOURCE: PLASMA PHILIPS MODEL NO 42PF7320/98

You need to post the part number off the board. Most of them are 310432842631 for the A/37. Best found on eBay.

SOURCE: tv red blink no start42 plasma philips

Thank you for the help. I actually changed the whole main power supply board and it still did not fix the problem. When I put the new one in, I had the tv on for about 3 hours and then I shut it off. No sooner did I get it back up on the wall and the problem started all over again. When I pulled the original board, the caps all looked fine so I am not even sure the board is bad. Problem is there is no one around me to test it. I am not going back to the same shop that already told me that it was a bad main power supply board. Any other suggestions?

SOURCE: Panasonic plasma 50PZ85 power led blink 10 times

Either a bad power supply or a bad processor board.
A Good Service Shop should know what the 10 blinks are indicating.
May be a repair cost between $200 and 400 dollars.
Be prepared -

SOURCE: 42" philips plasma, black screen and flashing red light

I did the same, replaced two bulging capacitors...cost me 2.00 for the capacitors and $20 for the desoldering/soldering tools. First time doing anything close to this with any electronics...tv works great now.

Philips 42pfl9603d/10 will not turn on. If turned on via power button only light guide flashes about 7 times. Tv will not go to standby. W

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.
Counting of number of blinks to Philips brand TVs is entirely different to that of other brand TVs. It is not a direct count procedure. The site have details about how to count the number of LED blinks [Fault Codes] to Philips brand TVs are given; along with details of the faulty circuit location.
Counting procedure of blinks to Philips LCD TVs are the same to all their models. Please refer any one here by the site I've linked.

I need the code for a phillips universal remote model CL034 to go with a durabrand tv?

Probably not going to find a specific code since durabrand is a walmart branded tv, your best bet is to try the automatic mode of your remote, or try different brands of tv, starting with sharp/sanyo/sony as those brands are ones that walmart sells most.

50 " Phillips Plasma tv. Screen is black, blinking red light.

Sounds more like blown/exploding capacitors on the PSB-Power Supply board. No OSD-on screen display a blinking led or chatter/relay clikcing at startup is the tv going into fault protection and bypassing the startup pins. The YSUS-Main controls the pic which is attached to 2 buffer boards the YBU-upper YBL-Lower. They control the upper and lower portion of the OSD and the YSUS controls both of them. Since you're getting No OSD you need to check for blown caps on the PSB first. Unplugging the set resets the error again. So you start all over again.
