Display on the panasonic kx-t7436

Someone has pulled the plates apart on the display so that all the buttons no longer fit through the plate and don't work. The display isn't working either. I can see that I need to remove the display from the phone so that everything can be realigned to fit together again, but I don't know how to remove the display. Is there an easier way to do it other than taking the whole phone apart?

This is the 6-line display phone on a swivel right? It has a half-million screws on the back of the phone, and no, I don't believe there's another way to get it apart and realigned.

I have a call display feature with telephone company but can not see any numbers on the phone screen. KX-T7436

It requires 3 things to display CID on a Panasonic system phone, CID service, CID hardware (part number TD-193), and programming. The 193 card is a 4-port card about 3 inches square and it attaches to the trunk card of a TD system.

It was an extra cost item in everything but the -7 cabinet, the last one Panasonic made in the series.

How do you change time on Panasonic KX t7436 phone

A 7436 phone works on TD and TDA series systems only. TD's are white, TDA's are blue/black. This thread will work, you need to find the Operator or Manager's station to make the changes. If you don't have access to *# then try **. If you get 3 beeps, you don't have the right phone.
