Lifecam vx-700 not working on windows xp - Microsoft Life Cam Vx-700 Webcam

Microsoft LifeCam VX-700 softwer downlod

Please be sure that the VX-700 does not require a driver software as it installs by its own. So remove all previous conflicting softwares of webcams and then connect the VX 700 to be detected as a new hardware and installed.

u may not be able to use the 2000pro because the web cam is set to use the updated version in XP. if u can not get the drivers to work than u will have to look up the web cam and look for the drivers through that company from the cam.

Are you sure it's a VX 700 rather than a VX 7000? The VX 7000 is not compatible with Windows 2000 unfortunately. Try the driver for XP.

Sometimes the problem is internet connection low, try to refresh the router by turning it off and on.

Otherway, your operating system is not updated like for windows xp service pack 2. sometimes webcam not working, try to download installer for service pack 3 and install the update.

no, you got to goto the video options in msn,, make sure corect camera is slected .and if u make a change restart msn and try again.
