SOURCE: Can't get all speakers to turn on in AV-1 function
can't seem to get the sound to come on. i knowe i have sound but will not turn on
SOURCE: Receiving tv analog audio.
Based on the description provided, you seem to be on the right track.
Be sure to select the appropriate "source" on the receiver using the remote (or front panel). The AV connection on the back of the receiver is typically labeled (i.e. Video 1, AUX, VCR... or similar). If there's only one unlabeled input, choose something that looks like "AUX IN" from the menu.
Also, make sure that you connected the cables to the TV via the "Audio Out", not the "Audio In" ports.
If these are too obvious and you have already done this, please provide additional information.
To reset the AV receiver to its factory defaults, turn it on and, while holding down the [Video 1] button, press the [Standby/On] button. "Clear" will appear on the display and the AV receiver will enter Standby mode.
