Need Nylon Gear for PX110MX Crosscut Shredder

This is a make with no maker, a Chinese made special sold in bulk.

Extended running and the heat that is created causes the nylon gears to strip. These people appear to be the importer and where you might get spares.

AliExpress sell some gears based on the number of teeth. Another possibility is to remove the stripped gear, thoroughly clean it with degreasent and soap, and then run a rolled sausage of epoxy putty around it, and mesh it carefully with the gear that stripped it and leave it to set. You will actually have a stronger gear than you started with.

I was having the same problem with my shredder. I called customer service; I was informed it was the gears on the inside of my shredder. My shredder is no longer under warranty. However, she is mailing me out the part I need for a small fee. Their customer service number is 1-800-327-8508 in the USA and international only 1-310-793-5650. I do hope this help you!

Check the plastic white gear very close it looks ok, till its closely examined the teeth wear out and they don't catch properly onto the metal gear. It gets smooth in spots. This causes it to sound funny and thump when it misses the gear.

I have the SC800 apart. My problem is not fixing it. I just need the part. The large gear which appears to be made of pewter has a couple of teeth missing. If I could find the part I can fix it. It's a very simple machine. If you know where I can get the part I would appreciate you letting me know..
