usually it means that a sensor in your fuser is bad. If you have a P.M. Kit replaced the fuser and clean the printer.
but before you do, make sure that you have cleared all jams, including in the fuser.
Its probably time for a Preventive Maintanence

I have had this problem happen to me repeatedly. I am not sure what model of printer you have, but in my case, the rollers needed replaced. I am not sure if your printer is connected to a server or just your computer, but it is also important to keep your software up to date as well, check Lexmark's website periodically for updates.
