It is running so slow!! It pauses and screen fades to light color! I cannont do my work!! Help!!

This could be for a couple of reasons, 1) you have a virus causing your laptop to crash or 2) you have a faulty Hard Drive.

Try downloading and running Hit Man Pro (an anti-virus software) that should clean up any viruses you have, download it here:

Run the scan and remove and viruses it finds and reboot the computer...see if this makes any difference, if not, try booting up in the recovery partition and repairing Windows.

Let me know if this helps

My hard drive is clicking alot & I am getting alot of freeze ups/ super slow response time , white faded screens etc. Need to replace?

the clicking noise is the reader arm jumping across platters on your hard drive you have a dirty hard drive first clean all the dust from your computer specifically from around your hard drive using a high powered suction vacuum cleaner or a fine air blower from a air compressor making sure there is no MOISTURE in the air lines then give the hard drive a firm tap on the side to free it up
test or replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your motherboard to hard drive make sure the connections are securely seated and they are not bad/faulty and no dust built up I would simply replace them

try uninstalling a few unnecessary programs then click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f this should schedule to happen on reboot which will scan for and attempt to recover bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive or
click startcontrol panel administrive tools, computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart
do not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input will damage your computer
then you should test or replace all leads make sure they are securely seated and are not bad/faulty that are attached to your (((motherboard to your hard drive)))
defragment your hard drive will speed up your computer
then defragment your hard drive

scroll to the bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click you can select task manager applications also processes you will see whats running on your computer you might have virus slowing your computer also select users you will see who is using your computer

hope this helps

Screen fades to white, everything freezes, then returns to normal

My first thought is a video inverter.

Install an external monitor and see if the problem persists.

If it doesn't then it is the LCD on the laptop.

Good luck

God Bless

MP3 Player freezes

Before transferring your music into it's phone; in it's current location, right click on the white background, go to view and then click on details. Now you should be able to see more detailed information about your songs. The next thing you should do is right click on the on gray bar column where it defines the name of your song, the artist name, and the size, etc., etc. Right click on the song you want to transfer over to your phone. Song names cannot include any symbols for it will cause your phone to freeze as you have mentioned. I was once in your situation. You can either do it this way or rename your music files with Itunes or any other program.
