Hi, Try putting a NEW CD in the machine. If it does this again then it may have a durty lens. You will have to remove the player and clean the lens with a alcohol swab. if that does not work then have a repairman look at it and if it cost more than a new one. Then go buy a new one. Good luck
It seems like the lens is dusty or has some particles blocking the "vision" of the laser, this problem is a pain because you can not simply put in a lens cleaner disk due to the system not recognizing anything. I have had the same error and had to remove and disassemble the unit to clean the lens with a damp cloth, then wipe with a lint free one. The error went away and disks ejected. If you are unable to do this, you may need to have it taken in for service.
