Your inlet solenoid valve is leaking either due to a damaged seat or possibly dirt trapped in the seat. Check the valve and replace it if need be. Till you can get around to it, keep the supply faucet closed.

Why is the washer slowly leaking water into the back of tub between washes?

There is grit in the water valve holding it open just enough to allow the water to seep by. You should get a filter system for your washer and replace the water valve, Grit is not covered by most warranties.

Frigidaire front opening washing machine fills with water

Hi, if it fills slowly overnight with clean water you may have to repalce the solenoid valve as it may be seeping water through, If however it fills with dirty water you may have water returning from the sink, if this is the case raise the level of the grey outlet pipe

My washing machine drains all the water at the end of the wash, but then slowly starts to fill back up. What is causing this to happen?

Hello cowmeag - From what you are describing, there are two possibilities: the valve assembly may not be seating properly or the Main Control board is sending voltage to the valves. If the valves do not seat properly, water will seep paste the valves and gradually fill the unit. I would recommend unplugging the unit. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If it still slowly fills, more than likely you water valve will need replacing. Otherwise, the dishwasher has a possible Main Control board failure.

Water that seeps into washer after cycle is done

Hi, If you are getting water in the tub when the washer is off, you will need a new inlet mixer valve. You can test this by tirning the water off at the wall and see if any water seeps in. If you would get me a model #, Icould look this up for you.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
