I have a Nokia X2. I'm hearing echos when I speak and also the person who's speaking with me hears the echo of his own voice.

Another site suggested switching the phone on and off, this did not improve the problem on my X2, however I tried switching off taking out the battery and sim card, then putting them back in and switching back on and although this didn't eliminate the problem totally it reduced the echo significantly.

Hello, if they are hearing echo, you are speaking too loud. Or have the receiver too close and talking too loud. Or the person on the other end of the line has phone line problems.

Try to keep the mic at a disttance and spek if you keep the mic near or the volume high you will definatly get that problem......

Echoing Problem

just wondering
probably the one ur speaking to on the other side of the line is set on hands-free/speaker mode that's why it seems that ur hearing ur own voice or something.
try also lowering ur own phone's volume level a bit.

if problem persists, consult an tech expert on this.

I own my Samsung Rugby SGH AM7 phone (paid for) did a reset, why does it ask to contact provider when I don't use it as a cell phone any longer? have a for an unused phone? Did a reset to erase everything I had on it...... so that I could use it as a mass storage device (music).
