We had a new oven put in 2 days ago, and the installer turned off the circuit breakers. Ever since he turned it back on my side by side has been making a clicking noise (like a relay). Then it will hum...

Remove the bottom front panel of the fridge and locate the defrost timer. This is a small circular motor with a screw slot in the center. Turn the slot CLOCKWISE ONLY and listen for a click. As soon as you hear the click stop, wait about five minutes and feel the walls of the freezer they should now be cold.If this happens again the timer will need to be replaced. Thank you, Dana

Drivers side window doesn't work.

This could be caused by a couple of different things. First off, when you depress the switch for the driver side window do you hear any kind of noise at all? If you are hearing a noise but it sounds like it's moving very easy, it could be the gear on the motor or the window is off track. If you are not hearing any noise at all, it may be the motor is out and will need to be replaced. These can be purchased from most auto parts store or your local chevrolet dealer parts department. The switch panel typically is held on by screws coming from underneath. You will most likely need to remove the door panel and unscrew the switch panel from the door panel once the door panel is removed from the door. While you have the panel off, you can look inside the door and make sure the motor is plugged in and also test to see if the motor is coming on when the button is depressed or if it is binded up you can hear that also.

Buzzing

If it is a buzzing noise, it is the Ballast for the lamp.
If it is more of a grinding sound, it is the Color Wheel motor.
Does it go away when you turn off the tv? If so, does it stop abruptly or does the sound tend to get softer (winding down noise)
If the noise stops abruptly it is probably the Ballast.
If the noise takes several seconds and seems to get softer until it stops about 30 sec later then it is the color wheel motor.

Blower for heater stopped

Remove the hush panel under the dash and unplug your blower motor turn the knob and see if its getting power. If it is replace the blower motor. If your heater seems to work on high but not the other 4 settings. replace the blower motor resistor and pigtail (same general location as blower motor)

Stopped during wash cycle and started making a loud noise

Sounds like your motor coupling is broken. It's not a big thing so don't worry to much. It only costs about 10 dollars and is easy to repair. The motor coupling sits between the motor and the transmission and is what spins the transmission when the motor spins it. It breaks from age or from over loading the machine to many times. To fix, just unplug the washer and tip it back so you can work under it comfortably. Remove the wire harness connected to the motor. Next, there are two clamps holding the motor up. Remove the screws and pop off the clamps with a flat head. Be careful because once you get one clamp off the motor will fall so hold it and don't smash your fingers. The motor coupling will come out with it. Put your new one on, it only goes on one way. Put the motor back and hook it all back up and you will be good to go again. You should be able to get a motor coupling easy as they are pretty common. Just check with your local appliance repair shop. Let me know if you have any other questions and let me know if this was helpful to you. Good luck and I am glad I could help you out.

Refridgerator Not Cooling

If top is compleatly warm it is probley the fan motor, lot of failures on them. Replacement one will be a different looking motor. Verify motor is not turning, located in the back of the freezer in the top middle, behind small grill. Will see fan blade pointed up, should run whenever compressor is on.
