Dear friends. I purchased a Balanced Battery Charger along with a new RC Airplane from one of a hobby shop in USA. Model of the charger is XR6AC from Blitz RC Works. When arrived at my place found there was no Operation Manual in it. I have contacted the seller/hobby shop for the matter and maybe they can send me a copy of the manual, but said they do not have any soft copy nor anything to help (unbelievable!). As I'm new in this hobby, I'm afraid to operate it without guidance from an Operating Manual. Tried to get help from hobby shops in my hometown/country (Indonesia), still unsuccessful. Also tried to find Blitz RC Work's web, no web site of it. So if anyone can help me with a copy of Op. Manual, kindly advise me through this forum or directly to my email. I will be very appreciated with the help. Thanks. Bambang, Jakarta - Indonesia

My AT&T Blackberry Curve does not charge anymore, is it the battery or the...

Hi.

Here a series of useful answers to common questions asked when an At&T Blackberry is not charging anymore.

2ca514a.jpg

1. My Blackberry is not charging anymore. Is it the battery or the charger?

Possible reasons are faulty battery, defective charger, bad contact on phone socket to charger.

When it is a charger problem, or a bad contact to charger, the phone will not detect that the battery charger is connected.

When the problem is the battery, usually you can see the charger beingdetected, and the charging line progressing, but the battery nevercharges.

The charger can also be tested using a Voltmeter. If the charge is in good working order, the Voltmeter will read a value within half volt from charger specifications.

2. Do batteries actually lose ability to work?

Yes they do, and the fault is not unusual.

3. How much will a new battery cost?

Most ordinary Li-Ion batteries for BB are sold at less than US$10. You can see a choice of sellers here: Blackberry Curve Battery
Ensure that the battery is compatible with your Blackberry model.

4. How much will a new charger cost?

The charger is also commonly sold at less than ten US$. You can see a choice of sellers here: AT&T Blackberry Curve's charger.
Ensure that the charger is compatible with your Blackberry model.

5. Will AT&T service the phone?

They will do, providing that the phone is still under warranty. Newwireless devices like your BB carry a one-year warranty from date ofpurchase. Refurbished devices carry a ninety-day warranty from the dateof purchase. If the phone had been purchased in US, to make a warranty claim after the first 30 days from purchase, you can call At&T at1-800-801-1101.

If the phone warranty has expired, a good choice could be going to anAt&T licensed phone shop, and asking to test battery and chargeron the bench before buying a replacement battery.

Rc car is broke not real car im 10 i cant drive!

What are the symptoms and what brand/model of car is it exactly? If it's just like a regular store brand like Nikko, or something along those lines like you can buy at walmart, if it's not just in need of batteries it's probably not worth fixing except as a project for someone with junk parts from other cars handy. If it's a hobby-grade car like you can buy at professional hobby shops where they sell remote control airplane kits, scale trains, etc and is a brand like Losi, or Traxxas, or Associated then there's a good chance it can be fixed, but not moving could be a remote control problem a receiver problem, a speed control problem, a battery problem, OR a motor problem, need more description of exactly what the car does and doesn't do to help.

Can you put a 12 volt battery in it. My 1 1/2 year old weights 38 lb. I would like that he got 2 or 3 summers out of it for the price.

The short answer is no. Unless you want to burn the motor and control circuit. I had a lot of problems with Thomas going slow, not having enough power, like battery is dead, until I figured out that there is too much voltage drop on the "dead-man" press-down switch. See my other post how to replace it with home wall mount flip switch from Home Depot. Other place to look is under the seat and make sure that motor contacts are clean, no corrosion and that they are not loose. I soldered them in place. another spot is the battery connector to check that it is not warned out.
If you want higher voltage and higher speed, you can go to any hobby store, or online, and by some of the airplane or care NIMH battery packs, like 3300mAh, 7.2V (they are made of 2/3-C cells, JFYI).
I use two 3000mAh, 7.2V, in parallel, just because I got them cheap (usually they are $10-$20 specially when they have sales). BTW, the original led-acid gel battery is about 6000mAh-when brand new.
You will probably need to change connector on the train (I switched to "T" also known as "Deans". If you know how to solder, or ask in the shop, some will do it for you if u bring ur train in. You can by a cheap charger in the hobby store, or use any 9-15V wall brick and use resistor to set current to around 1/10 of the battery capacity (200-300mA) for 12h charging time.
You can also choose 2-cell Lithium polymer battery (6v-8.4V empty/full) , they are more expensive, but light and bigger capacity in the same space. Thsi is excellent option if you already have them fo your hobby. Important: If you choose LIPO, you will need a charger designed for LIPOs or you will cause fire. If you never dealt with them, just stay away from them. 4b2cc156-dc6c-44b5-b8d0-db1399575ac6.jpg 1ec09f13-006a-42ed-a051-7e431351e43e.jpg

Hi
The transmitter battery connections are dirty, oily or have come disconnected. Contact the manufacturer about a replacement transmitter. The charger sounds like it failed also. Was this purchased at a hobby store? They can help too..

Battery, 8.4V 900mAh NiMH 7-Cell. Works with RC Airplane Models: Commander: how long does it take to charge?...

Hi
From the picture this looks like a Firebird product? If you're using the AC charger that came with the product, charging is usually overnight. If you're using a generic NIMH charger then 15 - 20 minutes is normal but its all based on your charger.

Rc airplanes

You can get kits at hobby shops or online. Hobby shops have everything from paint to wheels and the special body covering. They might have them already made or have contacts on people who want to sell.

Will not charge batt

I am sure you ave figured out what to do for this poblem but if not...I had this problem with a nikon I just purchased. The guy I bought it from said it was the battery charger, so I purchased a battery charger on ebay-"new nikon d1 battery charger" was the actual listing and it cost about $40.00. You can get the actuall charger that comes with it on ebay- but it cost alot more money. I recieved the product, tried it on my battery (which was suppose to be new) and it still would not charge. I took all my stuff (battery, new charger, old charger) to a local battery shop in town and they tested it all for me. Come to find out it was not the charger all along, it was the "new" battery- UGHH! The whole point to this story is this- if you have not aken your battery and charger to a battery shop yet- do that first. Then go from there. Like I said- you canget the charger on ebay- and the battery can be bought for about $36.00 too. I would not recommend buying both like I did! Good luck.
